Where silence matters

Use Vardr where expected activity is worth checking.

Vardr is useful when you already have a reason to expect a post, mention, update or publication, and you want to know if it has not appeared.

Different forms of expected activity can produce the same meaningful absence

Weekly publications, daily supplier updates, and ongoing campaign mentions appear in their usual rhythm. At the next expected position, no new Signal appears.

Patterns

Useful cases start with a clear expectation.

The product works best when a Source or Topic normally has Signals often enough for missing activity to be noticeable.

01

A creator has not posted

A channel usually publishes weekly.

No new upload has appeared within the expected period.

02

A supplier update is missing

A partner page or feed normally changes on schedule.

The expected update has not appeared.

03

A competitor launch is no longer being mentioned

A product launch keeps appearing across public channels.

Recent coverage is missing earlier than you expected.

04

A campaign is being discussed less often

A campaign hashtag or brand topic has daily discussion.

Relevant mentions have not appeared within the Silence Window.

05

A news story has fewer recent signals

Coverage is expected to taper gradually.

No recent article or mention has appeared in the watched sources.

06

A product topic is unusually quiet

A product, category or feature should keep being discussed.

Vardr has not seen a qualifying Signal for that Topic recently.
